Austin's Pizza - (512) 795-8888

I saw what I thought was an animal run by my feet into the kitchen area. I asked the employee what the hell I saw. The employee, matter of factly, told me and another customer standing in the lobby that they had a rodent infestation and that the owners have refused to do anything about it. I cancelled my order and called the city!

I would love to give them a superb recommendation, as their pizza definite is one of the best in Austin. My recent gripe is the 3-dollar delivery charge added to the pizza. I would pay the same price for the any pizza that tasted as good but I feel the trend in recent gouging of the customer for these delivery charges are outlandish. I know with gas prices around 3/gall costs go up. But by no means with the number of stores in Austin allowing for small coverage areas are delivery persons using up 15-30 miles per delivery. I know my store is just a mile away. Not to mention there are usually multiple deliveries per trip.

I worked at Austins pizza, their soy cheese contains casein which is a milk derivative and is not vegan friendly. The dough contains whey which is also not vegan friendly. Just wanted to let fellow vegans know so they don't make the mistake of eating these items!
