Tips
- The Extras
For a spectacular sunset overlooking the lake, check out the Oasis.
- Know Before You Go
For one of the craziest parties around, take a boat out and join the hundreds of people on Devil's Cove. On any summer long weekend, this is where Austin's party set goes for sun, fun and lots of skin.

Lake Travis is a wonderful place..................
BUT alot of people sure do come up missing there. Alot of "accidents". Just be Careful. Try steering clear of Sandy Creek.

Amazing that the lake is only 30 minutes from the hustle and bustle of downtown. It's a whole different world. From the clothing-optional relexation of Hippie Hollow to the over-hyped and over-crowded Carlos 'N Charlies, the Lake has something for everyone.
Pros: fishing, boating, swimming
Cons: crowds at some parks
Hidden ocean

Lake Travis is beautiful, whether you're SCUBA diving, sailing, swimming, fishing, boating or just soaking some rays.
