The Road Series consists of colors studies exploring the relationship between color and mood in a simple, unassuming way. They also convey the freedom of the open road at night and how the absence of daylight creates an entirely different, almost surreal, landscape.Created as a personal memento of Grodek's Hurricane Wilma experience in Florida, this road painting was executed on a cement roof tile knocked free by the storm.
