The Third Annual Keep Austin Bizarre Bazaar is being held at Fiesta Gardens on December 18-21 from 11 a.m. – 12 a.m. Friday and Saturday and 11 a.m. – 10 p.m. Sunday and Monday. For the first time this year, admission and parking will be FREE.
This annual holiday shopping event features over 60 local artists and small businesses housed under multiple heated large circus tents, with a further 40 artists outside on vendor row selling unique gifts and fine, hand crafted items. In addition, there will be tribal, improvisational and yogic dance performances, fire spinners, circus acts and resident musicians who play while patrons shop, allowing for an enjoyable, festive experience.
To celebrate the third and presumably biggest year, incorporated is a “Taste of Austin Theme” in 2009. Gourmet foods from around the world will be offered by some of the best local eateries, as will libations from local microbrews. Also for the first time, a Winter Wonderland walkabout will be hosted for all to enjoy. All this in Fiesta Gardens for 4 days on the weekend before Christmas.
