Description:
I have written a book for Christian women who are divorced and/or abused entitled "Lessons from the Woman at the Well". This book, and seminar is basically for women... On the messageboard is a thread with excerpts that some may get a very small taste of what will be discussed during the seminar on this topic. I believe this will be very important to Christian women in particular because they have more of a struggle getting over abuse because of the "silence" regarding such things in the church system. We will be coming from the twelve chapters in this book. Initially, I had said that it was not necessary to purchase the book however one will not be able to discuss if she does not know what the book is about so I have prayerfully come to the conclusion that one can come to the first meeting without a book, however in order to continue to attend, one must have the book. Also, we will be discussing questions and/or statements that will come reading the chapters so everyone will have their own topics of interest, and it will be helpful to have read the book, and to have it with you when you come to the seminar. The seminar is free, and refreshments will be served, . For those of you who would like to purchase the book...if you live in the Austin area, it is available at the "Book People" bookstore, which is next door to Whole Foods on Lamar Blvd, and 5th Street. and through Amazon.com at their prices. Also, I am selling my book for a "love offering", but I cannot sell it in the library so please contact me ahead of time, and I will get one to you... Blessings!
