we moved to austin a year ago and through research we were so blessed to find this amazing school. hill elementary was a wonderful environment for my daughter to grow and learn. i can offer nothing but praise and admiration in hopes that someone will benefit by choosing this school for their child. it has definitely set the bar high for other schools to meet my expectations. as you can gather, i highly recommend this beautiful school. it's an encouraging, peaceful, and nurturing setting. my kindergartener had a rotation of music art and pe each day. the artistic development was highly encouraged.

Hill Elementary is a great school. They have very high standards, and the students live up to those standards as a result. The teachers are of great quality.

Hill Elementary is an exemplary school with strong PTA/ parent volunteer involvement. The teaching staff is very experienced and cohesive. The school art and music programs are well implemented and complement the academic program very well. The class size is approximately 21 per class which is a little large considering the classroom sizes.

We just started this year, but so far so good. My child's teacher has been very helpful in making sure she stays on point and has made wonderful suggestions in improving her work. Awesome music program and Afterschool Enrichment programs!

This school has an excellent music program; the teachers are friendly. The food in the cafeteria appears nutritious however it is not vegetarian friendly. I think it is one of the better public schools.

The climate at Hill is open, warm and friendly. The teachers are very dedicated, knowledgeable, and interested in the individual learner. The general curriculum is above grade level, but tailored to meet the individual student's needs. Everyone, from the office staff, to the custodians, is friendly. 'Village' atmosphere- an oasis in AISD.

Hill was a very dissapointing experience for our whole family. My sister and brother both went to this school ten years before and had problems with discrimination.I was told that my child could not read and would have to go special classes so being the skeptic that I am I went to the School to talk to her teacher only to find out they had my child in 'problem' class she was removed from the school and placed in another AISD school were she is in the top of her class and has never had a problem reading or writing!Hill Elm.has only one good thing about it Mrs. Rossi who is always understanding and helpful.

I went to Hill 6 years and graduated this May. I learned so much and every day was joy. Over the summer I missed it, it's teachers, and my friends so much. I absolutly loved it. The teachers we're just exceptional never a bad one. Also the majority of my friends moved to Hill from other schools. For some reason kids fit in really quickly at Hill. If you choose this school I'm sure you'll be just as pleased as I was.
