Timmerman Elementary School Reviews

Timmerman is wonderful. I have a son in Kindergarten and have been impressed since the beginning. His teacher, Ms Craigie, is totally involved in each child's activities and improvement. This is a teacher who is dedicated to teaching. I hear similar views of the other Kindergarten teachers. Every teacher/member of staff is readily approachable, including the principal, Mr Ernest. My son loves the school and is excited about the many projects and activites that are set up for the kids.

This school is awsome!! It has an wonderful caring principle and some great first - third grade teachers. My children have had great teachers and I think this helps them want to get up and go to school and learn. I didn't understand it until I met the staff. Good Job Timmerman.

TES is a great school for all students. The kids learn: period. The teachers care, the kids know the teachers and principals. A true small school/community oriented enviornment. TES is the best because of the staff, kids and parents. It just works.

Timmerman Elementary is a great place to learn. The teachers really care about your child being successful.

Parental Involvement is excellent at Timmerman. My daughter is going into fourth grade and she loves the feeling of community at Timmerman. She has made close bonds with her friends. We had excellent years in K through 2nd grade. Timmerman may focus too much on TAKS preparation to the detriment of students

I have a fourth grader and first grader and we just love the parent/teacher involvement. there always seems to be something going on to help the kids learn in different ways. nature walks in kinder and visits to the pumkin patch in first and several other hands on field trips. they also have a new program that teaches math with hands on. my first grader has been reading since mid-kinder. thanks to pflugerville schools thanks timmerman

The teachers and staff of this school have helped the children 'own' their education. They have academic 'pep' rallies where kids (and parents)go wild for each other for getting good grades and having good attendance. My child is excited about school. I don't have to get on her case about getting home work done. I never hear 'I don't want to go to school today'. I believe the time spent here is excellent preparation for college in a few years. Who knows? Maybe my child is just exceptional. In light of that then, we are fortunate to have her in an exceptional school.

My son has atttended Timmerman for 2 years now including Kindergarten and First Grade. We have been very pleased with the structure the school provides as well as the well rounded curriculum. The school has a no nonsense attitude that has helped my son to focus and excel in both readingin and math.

My daughter atttended theis school in her 1st semester of 3rd grade. She was changed to this school because the school districts had changed. She went from a great school to another great school. he loved her teacher Mrs. Vallez. There was a hell of alot of school involvement, parental involvement, and teacher and principal involvement. I have never known a principal so nice. friendly, and loved all the students. She even so far as dressing up as a clown because she lost a contest to the kids. I believe she even kissed a pig in front of the entire student body. This school was great! My only complaint is the parking lot is too small and the traffic picking up or dropping off your children is horrible.

Generally very good school and enthusiastic staff. Good parent involvement. Academics seem very good and flexible depending on students needs, though they teach to the tests too much, but who isn't these days. Has somewhat overly rigid rules and too structured for my tastes, but those are really my only complaints. I downgrade the safety and discipline score for that reason. The school safety program seems very good, but I think the discipline is too rigid, so I give them a 3 for that reason.
