Old Town Elementary School Reviews

Old town is a great school. I have a son who was in PPCD and now kinder about to go for second try. In comparison to other school we have been envolved with they are great. The new speech teacher is wonderful. Everyone works to help my son understand the information he needs!

Old Town is fantastic. everyone works together and the teachers show each child how special they are. The teams of teachers work hard at doing everything in their power to get a child to succeed. Those children that are high in areas are encouraged to go above and beyond the curriculum to reach higher goals. I can't say enough wonderful things about this school.

I am loving this school. They really draw out your child's strengths and work on their weaknesses without making them feel subconscious about them. Everyone I have met has been very helpful and they address every concern you may have with understanding and respect for you as a parent who knows your child best. I really appreciate the partnership I feel with the staff at this school. Keep up the great work!

Mediocre quality education, which is what we expected in Round Rock.

Old Town teachers seem to be particularly adept at teaching to each individual student and meeting the needs of differing levels within the classroom. We have been very happy!

My child is really flourshing here. Very positive, encouraging staff. Old Town is awesome.

Our child was in the PPCD program for help with speech and other developmental delays. While the program was pretty good, the admin oversight and availability of information was severely lacking. We were outright lied to a number of times concerning the availability of services for our child. They made us feel like they were doing us a favor instead of seeming to truly want to help our child. We are looking to move to a different school district right now on the advice of our pediatric psychologist who says emphatically that Round Rock is a great district for students who excel, not if they have special needs.

I am very pleased with Old Town. I have two children who attend.I feel the availability of music, art and sports are above average. The quality of the academic prgrams is wonderful. Most of the teachers will gently challenge your child to their full potential in areas they excel and offer extra help in areas that your child needs them. All teachers we've encountered have been happy to have the parents feedback and help us to feel as a partner in our children's education. Parental invovement is very high at all levels. You can be involved as much as you can in many different ways. We love Old Town! Diane Flores

My son just completed kindergarten at Old Town and I have been completely happy with the program. The skills he has in reading, math and science are amazing. He had a fantastic teacher and the school has tremendous resources available to students to ensure success. No complaints whatsoever.

Old Town Elementary is a wonderful school. The teachers there are highly trained and provide hands-on, high level instruction for the students. Parental involvement is great! Great technology as well.

We love Old Town- the teachers are great, the parents are involved, it has a real feeling of community.

Old Town Elementary is a fantastic school! The teachers are wonderful, caring, and honestly go the extra mile for our children. The principal and vice principal are also wonderful. I feel truly blessed to have my children at Old Town Elementary, where we have been 'Recognized' for several years now.
