My daughter attended Kinder at Cox this past school year and I couldn't have been happier. Her teacher was always available, responded quickly to emails and phone calls and sent out weekly updates and reminders for upcoming events. I always knew exactly what was going on and felt very involved in my daughter's learning process. All the staff are friendly and helpful. Everyone seemed open and welcoming and I always felt I could approach any of the staff with questions or concerns. I couldn't have been happier with our school experience and would highly, highly recommen this school to anyone who is moving to the area.

It's a great school. The teachers are very open, and there are high standards. The new principal seems to be fantastic, and I anticipate only better things to come. There is a ton of volunteer support from parents, and a great environment.

Cox Elementary is an amazing school. We are so lucky to have our new principal Mrs. Hawthorn. She is awesome and seems to be keeping the family feel that Kim Adcock helped cultivate. The teachers are absolutely amazing , you won't find a more dedicated group. The parents are supportive and are very involved. I love the fact that Cox is not super homogenous. Just today our parents put on a cultural fair to share their culture with all the children. We had parents from Vietnam, Peru, Norway, Puerto Rico, Mexico, China, Malawi and someone from Louisiana teaching us about Creole. What an awesome mix of kids and parents.

My family and I have moved all over the country and the best school that my children ever attended, was cox elementary. If Kim is still the principal, you can't do any better. She should be named principal of the year. She is a great mentor. Any principal who will kiss a pig at a carnival and teach in the classrooms from time to time, rocks! She is also very involved with her teachers. A great principal sets the atmosphere for a great school.

Our family loves this school. Our daughter has had a very positive experience going to Cox. Her teacher is very consistent and helpful, considering all they have to do through out the day. The availability of all of the special classes keeps it interesting. Especially for my kindergartner. I'm very pleased with Cox's performance

Can't say enough about this school. The parent involvement is just amazing and the teachers and administration work together seamlessly. You always feel like you are being treated fairly. It has a great reputation and people send their kids to Cox who would easily and effortlessly send their children to a private school. A+

My son has attended this school from Kindergarten and is currently in First Grade. The teachers are wonderful and really work with the children. I haven't had a lot of direct contact with the principal but she runs a pretty tight ship. I would recommend the Cox to anyone seeking great one-on-one contact with the children, and they are great at fostering the desire to learn and explore.

So far,I have been very happy with Cox Elementary. My daughter started there this past year, 2004-2005, for kindergarten. She really loved it and her teacher. I was very happy with her teacher, as my daughter seemed to really soak everything in. It seemed like she was learning something new every day, especially the last half of the year. My daughter also loved their 'special' classes, such as music, theater arts (drama) and arts. Of course, her favorite class was P.E.! I thought it was wonderful they got to do all of these extra classes. Her teacher liked having parents help out and they did some neat holiday activities. There were alot of parent volunteers doing all kinds of work, from classroom to office to library, etc. Overall, so far, I am really happy with the school.

I moved to Austin from Chicago and was very concerned about my sons first year at Cox. He started kindergarten and loved it. I stayed active in the school and got to know a lot of the staff during the 2004-2005 year and can honestly say that the faculty is great. I highly recommend this school. Not only has my child enjoyed school to the fullest, but he has made great friends as well. There is nothing bad to be said about this school!
