Love the idea that they are having a teacher from each grade stay in the lunch room, so it has become a more controlled environment yet still enjoyable for kids to visit. I wish also that the office ladies were more friendly and not have to 'fake' it so much. Also like the steps they are taking to ensure the safety of the kids with food allergies. My child is in kindergarten and brings home shapes that she has colored during the day. My 2 year old does this right now. They are only counting to 10. What is going on? I thought this was a recognized school. I consider this daycare, not school. Have two children in different grades and we are sorely disappointed in the performance of the teachers. The teachers are unenthusiastic and do not inspire the children. When complaints are made to the administrators concerning the teachers, they back the teachers and we are made to feel our concerns are not valid. Also, as a Christian Family, we were used to higher Christian values...This is lacking in this school. The whole system seems harsh and is on it's own tangent...teachers seem to be more worried about themselves than the children. They need more after school activities for the children to get involved in. We came from another 'Recoginized' school in another district and they are comparable. The teachers/staff have been very kind and helpful to our children. His teacher was excellent and they very warmly welcomed parent volunteering. All the staff was very helpful and their extracurricular activities were superb. My son learned a great deal in the computer lab and loved art, music and PE. It was a wonderful kindergarten experience for both of us! Unfortunatly we moved to Arizona and now my son is attending 1st grade Phoenix. There is a definite difference in the way the schools are run and the academic program. The teachers seem to be unduly harsh on the students, with no correction from the administration. The children have very little stress outlets as they have limited time or space to let off energy.”
