LBJ High School Reviews
Quality Score: 5 Post Date:2009-10-18
“Two words: fire academy. Best high school class you will ever take. Its very tough to get into and a very tough class, but it is also the most fun you will have in your life. And its not all fun and games you graduate high school certified as a firefighter in the state of texas. You will do things you never dreamed of doing in this class and it will push you to your limits. Great class, great people. If you go to lasa or lbj take this class. Two years long for two periods everyday but it is time well spent.” This review was posted by a student.

“LASA, the magnet program within LBJ High School is outstanding. Everyone has high expectations and the ambition to reach them. The teachers are great, the classes/electives are great, and so are the clubs, lunches and everything in between. GO JAGS” This review was posted by a student.

“Okay, this school is pretty tough, but I think i've learned a lot during this first year here. It starts earlier than most austin high schools, and I think ends later too, and currently has a 35 minute lunch. I believe the lunch will be a full hour next year. The teachers really seem to care, there's a great sports and band program, and every college student coming from LASA I've talked to says college feels way easier to them.” This review was posted by a student.
